Holiday and Group Policies
Deposit and cancellation policies differ for groups and on some holidays such as the 4th of July.
We require a credit card deposit equal to the first night’s stay plus tax at time of booking. We do not refund deposits to place on a different credit card or cash upon check-in. Upon check-in, you will be charged the full remainder of your invoice.
Every reservation is firm and if it is cancelled, there is a $25 adminstration fee and the deposit is refunded, until 7 days in advance of check-in. At that point, a cancellation will result in a forfeit of the deposit.
Reservations through online travel websites such as expedia or hotels.com - We recommend that you reserve directly with us to receive the best rate, but you may use agents such as expedia. However, should you need to cancel your reservation, you must go back through their booking website.
If there is a problem with your reservation, we have no way to contact you directly, only the travel agent does. Third party agents may also have erroneous information regarding our policies.

Our regular check-in hours are 3:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Check-in after 8:30 PM must be arranged in advance.
We can receive and will hold guest packages for a service fee of $5 per package.
There is a $25 fee to change a reservation, unless you are adding a day to an existing stay.
Maximum occupancy = 2 per room or suite. Only our Garden Spa Suites with Sofabeds can accommodate up to 4 people. All other rooms and suites are restricted to 2 people. Several suites can accommodate a crib.
All rates are for single or double occupancy. Some suites are large enough for a crib. Additional fees may apply for infants or toddlers. Crib rental is $25 per night. Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the Historic Lodge room type.
We are a smoke free property. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on our property, inside or out, including e-cigarettes. If there is evidence that a guest has smoked in their room, there is a $250 cleaning fee. Additionally, Coronado Island became a smoke free community as of January 2014.
Our insurance does not permit the use of real flame candles or burning of incense.
We do not allow personal pets. Service animals are allowed in all guest areas. When booking your reservation please inform the Innkeeper that a service dog will be accompanying you. A service animal may only be classified as a dog which was trained to perform a task for a person with a disability. Under the American's with Disabilities Act, service dogs that only provide emotional support or comfort support are not qualified. Service animals may not be left in the rooms by themselves.
Damages incurred to hotel property as a result of hotel occupant or guest(s) of occupant, will result in fees that will be billed to the hotel occupant. Fees may vary depending upon the amount necessary to restore or replace the damaged property.
