There’s no need to bring a car to Coronado. You can walk or bike to everything.
Coronado is extremely flat which makes it ideal for walking or biking for almost everyone. We can recommend self-guided as well as guided tours for you. There are many great Coronado and San Diego walks.
Self Guided Tours - Our innkeepers have designed walks around the island, ranging from the 10 block Home and Garden Tour to the 7 mile Island Loop.
Coronado Walking Tour – This 90 minute guided tour is a great introduction to the island and its history Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 11:00 AM, $12, reservations recommended. (619)435-5892
Hotel del Coronado Tour
75 minute tour throughout the historic Hotel del Coronado. Tours depart on Tuesday and Friday at 10:30 am, and on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm. $15, children under twelve are free. Reservations required. (619) 437-8788
Coronado Heritage Walk
This promenade through the past departs from the lobby of the Museum of History and Art, 1100 Orange Avenue, on Wednesdays at 10:30 am. $10 per person, reservations required. (619) 437-8788
