The 4th of July is an unforgettable experience in Coronado, but don’t miss other fun events.
Second only to the 4th of July celebration is Coronado’s spring weekend featuring our wonderful gardens and flower show entries. In 2011 a Beer Garden was introduced and was a big hit!
Flower Show – 3rd weekend in April
Library Book Sale – 3rd weekend in April
Motorcars on Mainstreet – 4th Sunday in April - vintage car show
Holiday parade – On the first Friday of December Santa comes to town and downtown becomes a pedestrian mall
Speed Festival – September TBD, 2013, part of San Diego Fleet Week, this is a vintage car display and race. This is one of the few times each year that civilians can visit the North Island Naval Base.
