Wonderful weekend in Coronado

Guests of the Lodge were treated to great weather and great fun last weekend. The annual flower show in Spreckels Park drew all ages. Our two year old guest combined flower viewing and a romp on the playground.
On Sunday, Motor Cars on Mainstreet was the main attraction with hundreds of vintage cars on display just 2 blocks from the Lodge. Owner Dave Gillingham’s 1972 VW bus was on display but it was outshown by this wonderful 1947 Mercury woodie. Guests Tom and Peggy from the midwest couldn’t resist a photo in front of the perfectly restored California cruiser!
