Earlier this summer, we hosted a travel writer from about an hour north of San Diego. She was kind enough to “highly recommend 1906 Lodge for your next vacation getaway”.
Even though she was staying with us on a summer weekend, she found our San Diego boutique hotel to be quiet and relaxing. “If you love history, seaside locales, and lots of quiet, 1906 Lodge on San Diego’s picturesque Coronado Island is a restorative vacation getaway.” We think this sums up the 1906 Lodge experience quite well!
The writer’s favorite room, our Tea Garden suite, is also the first choice of this summer’s many honeymooners. Its fireplace, huge spa tub, fabulous gold leaf four poster bed, and private balcony overlooking the courtyard make it a perfect romantic hideaway.
